Credits & sources

This is a fan-made, unofficial tool — not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Spike Chunsoft or Chunsoft. It exists because of the reverse-engineering and archival work of the people and projects below.

• Explorers of Sky / Time / Darkness — algorithm originally documented and implemented by Peter Occil (upokecenter.com, Ultimate Pokémon Center), preserved by Syphist (syphist.com) and reimplemented in JavaScript by SombrAbsol (github.com/SombrAbsol/SombrAbsol.github.io). Dungeon names from lorcan2440's Wonder Mail S data (github.com/lorcan2440/PMD2-Sky-Wonder-Mail-S-Generator). Neither of these two source repositories states a license; used here in the spirit in which they were shared — reimplemented from their published logic, not copy-pasted — and I'll happily credit differently, relicense my own port, or take this section down on request.
• Rescue Team (Red / Blue) — password format documented by Peter Occil, with a reference converter by dhrgr (github.com/dhrgr/dhrgr.github.io), released to the public domain (Unlicense).
• Rescue Team DX — password format reverse-engineered and documented by zaksabeast (gist) and mid-kid (pmdrtdx_passwords, WTFPL), implemented by Karthik99999 in PMD Gen (MIT licensed) — the source this page's DX logic is ported from.
• The DX symbol tiles on this page are original drawings, not the game's artwork.
